Overview

The I×I brand welcomes its long-awaited second installment. Once again, Imae and Ito present the ultimate solution to the angling world. The quintessential high-speed bait is finally here: the I×I "FURIOUS."

Concept

Imae thoroughly pursued elements that maximize the instinct of bass to attack bait fleeing at furious speeds – hence the name "FURIOUS." Ito, in his quest to realize an otherworldly shallow runner, has incorporated the water-through mechanism (PAT.) previously featured in POPMAX, XPOD, and CYCLONE.

Body Design

This design seeks to control lure action and range by using hydrodynamics, secondarily governed by the flow of water taken into the body. The FURIOUS's water streaming acts like a virtual lip and is nothing short of spectacular.

Hydrodynamics

During high-speed retrieves, the water flowing in from the intake on the head is pressurized within the body, increasing its flow rate and significantly enhancing the stability of the action and trajectory.

Furthermore, excessive water flow that is unnecessary for super-shallow game depth is discharged downward from two water ducts located under the gill, reducing pressure. This offsets the over-range diving vector that naturally increases water resistance due to longer distances and higher speeds in wide-area shallow games. It enables high-speed retrieves while maintaining a shallow depth as if the lure is stuck to a specific layer.

Key Features

The FURIOUS is equipped with Micro LBO (PAT.). The impressive high-pitch over-roll promotes sharp strobe flashing. The fact that this slim, approximately 7g mini-plug achieves overwhelming ultra-long-distance castability that defies headwinds is another world in itself.

The ultimate solution they've delivered is, once again, intensely remarkable. The FURIOUS embodies an otherworldly shallow game experience.
