Overview

The Makippa, as the name suggests, is a new sensation casting blade jig that you simply cast and retrieve. In saltwater scenes, casting jigs are a staple lure due to their casting distance and effectiveness on a wide variety of fish species. However, they can be difficult to impart the desired action or maintain the targeted depth, requiring experience and skill to use effectively.

The Makippa overcomes these difficulties, making it easy for anyone to use with thorough tuning.

  • The tail is equipped with a blade that has a high fish-attracting effect simply by reeling it in.
  • Features the Blade Hook System (PAT.) which allows for a high probability of hooking blade bites without hindering the blade's rotation.

How to Use

After landing, immediately retrieve to target the surface layer. Allow the lure to sink before retrieving to maintain the middle or bottom range, allowing you to target the swimming layer of the fish.

  • Equipped with a tinsel assist hook that is effective for all kinds of fish.
  • The "Omakase Eye" on the belly allows for the addition of double or treble hooks according to your preference. Hooking onto the "Omakase Eye" is especially effective for fish that bite from the bottom.
