Category: Hard Lures
The D-Zone spinnerbait is a competition-grade lure designed to trigger strikes and land trophy-sized bass. It’s arguably the best-selling spinnerbait in Japan, a testament to its consistent fish-catching ability.
Winner of the 2004 Lure Magazine Tackle of the Year award (Hard Lure Category), the D-Zone pushes the limits of performance. While its aggressive design may carry a risk of breakage, its fish-catching power more than compensates.
Designed by Morizo Shimizu with the same concept as a Formula One race car, the D-Zone is a tournament-special spinnerbait. Since its release, it has proven its ability to catch big bass across Japan. Even tour professionals in the US have adopted it as a secret weapon, expanding the D-Zone's influence worldwide.
It's likely that the D-Zone has caught more big bass in Japan than any other spinnerbait. Its reputation is built on consistent results and unwavering support from anglers.
The D-Zone is designed for competition and built to catch that one crucial big bass, even at the risk of potential breakage. Avoid lifting fish out of the water, as this can put excessive stress on the lure. We recommend using a net for landing.
To prevent arm breakage, do not strike the D-Zone against the water surface to remove weeds. As a guideline, replace the D-Zone after catching approximately three 40cm/1kg class fish to prevent breakage.
