JDM Tackle Deals is a price tracker for authentic Japanese fishing tackle. We don't carry inventory, we don't take orders, and we don't push you toward "limited stock" countdowns. We just watch every major Rakuten merchant and tell you when something's actually a deal.
Why we exist
JDM tackle is scattered across hundreds of Rakuten shops, each with their own pricing, sales cycles, and shipping options. Comparing a Stella across 20 stores by hand is exhausting — and the prices are in yen, with no history, so "¥85,000" tells you nothing about whether it's a good time to buy.
We pull every listing into one place, convert to your currency, keep a full price history, and surface the actual drops. That's it.
How it works
- Aggregation. We poll the Rakuten Ichiba API daily across the JDM tackle catalog — rods, reels, hard lures, soft lures, and accessories from the dominant merchants.
- Price history. Every price change is recorded. Each product page shows a chart so you can see whether today's price is genuinely low or just average.
- Alerts. Set a target price on any product and we'll email you when it drops below. No spam, one click to unsubscribe.
- Comparison. Save products to a wishlist, compare side-by-side, and follow the cheapest seller across the catalog.
