Compared to the ES version, the 55TG has a weight of 14.5g (vs 10.0g) and the 70TG has a weight of 20.0g (vs 15.0g). This increase in weight of over 30% improves casting distance and makes it easier to trace deep ranges, expanding the productive zone three-dimensionally. The action remains largely the same, with a slightly tighter retrieve.
