The Daiwa Great Madaq L is a specialized octopus lure (蛸ルアー) designed for targeting true octopus (真蛸). This updated version features scientifically enhanced gripping action with newly designed claws that create more realistic movements to entice octopus, even in strong currents. It can use both the standard Madaq hook and the separately sold Madaq Hook Big for secure hook-ups on larger octopus.
