Its head shape flares left and right, with a downward-oriented line eye that, combined with the carefully positioned hook angle, delivers outstanding snag resistance even without a wire guard. The heavy, hard blade produces a dry low-frequency sound, and the bait tends to swim with a slight rise as water flows over the head and skirt, making it most effective in shallow water.
