The Smith Bottom Knox Swimmer 2 is a new-genre trout lure designed by Hiroyuki Motoyama to trigger strikes from even neutral or pressured trout. Its high-density tungsten weight concentrated at the front and buoyant tail allow it to stand on the bottom and swing side-to-side with bottom-pumping, while also vibrating on a straight retrieve and producing a swinging action on twitches.
